Field Balancing
Diagnose and eliminate imbalance vibrations
High vibrations due to unbalances lead to overloading, particularly of shafts, bearings and foundations, with corresponding wear and shortened service life. This results in high repair costs and unnecessary machine downtime with expansive production losses.
If excessive unbalance vibrations are diagnosed using vibration analysis, field balancing makes it possible to eliminate the unbalance without dismantling the machine. In addition, the overall vibration level of the machine is reduced, as the rotating components are corrected in their operating state, i.e. in the respective installation conditions.
The seminar includes this knowledge, among other topics:
- Causes and types of unbalances
- Diagnosing unbalances using vibration analysis
- Fundamentals of balancing technology
- Static and dynamic balancing
- Field balancing in 1-plane
- Field balancing in 2-planes
- Basics of field balancing in several planes for shafts with multiple bearings and shaft-elastic rotors
We are also happy to collect the main topics for the field balancing training course on your requirements and focus on practical application.
